Frat runs Christmas tree from SUNY Fredonia

Members of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity at SUNY Fredonia made a 42 mile run from the school to Buffalo Saturday.

It was all part of their 16th annual “Tree Trot” which involves bringing up a Christmas tree to donate to a family this holiday season.

That’s through a partnership with the United Way and the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.

“To see these young guys running 42 miles to bring us a Christmas tree for the holiday is a blessing,” said tree recipient Carmen Santiago. “I thank them so much. You made our Christmas a dream come true.”
